Después de ocho años seguidos yendo a Donosti, ha sido tan nostálgico como interesante seguir el Festival de San Sebastián desde las redes; descubrir miradas sociales indignadas, satisfacción impulsiva, hashtags indescifrables y debates improductivos. He podido ver las galas por streaming, a Viggo conferenciando en euskera, a Aaron Sorkin pidiendo ayuda —“alguien tiene que venir a Estados Unidos a salvarnos»—, a un director protestón sin mensaje en su camiseta ni mascarilla y al concurrente quejándose de la lluvia y los largos planos… ¡Ay, quién los pillara! Sí. Incluso he podido ver a Enrique Villarreal y a Johnny Depp compartiendo barricada y a Woody Allen con el corazón roto por la distancia. Pero ya está bien. Ahora lo que más quiero es volver. Volver el año que viene y ver cine. Mucho cine. San Sebastián, me verás volver.
